As part of its ongoing investment in value-added compliance services, Foreside is pleased to announce the addition of several new senior compliance professionals to its Foreside Compliance Services unit, as well as the opening of a New York/New Jersey office located at Plaza V, Harborside Financial, Jersey City and the substantial expansion of our Boston facility located at 10 High Street.
Foreside is pleased to welcome Bill Royer and Myles Edwards to the Foreside team. Bill serves as Managing Director of Foreside Compliance Services. In addition to overseeing CCO services, Bill will be focused on continuing to develop Foreside’s CCO and compliance consulting business lines. Prior to joining Foreside, he was Acting General Counsel of Baring Asset Management, Inc., served for ten years as General Counsel and Member of the advisory firm, Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. LLC., and was an associate in the financial services practice of Ropes & Gray, LLP, Bill has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Myles Edwards joins Foreside with over 20 years of diversified experience in the securities and financial services industries. Prior to joining Foreside, he served in many executive, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer positions with onshore and offshore hedge funds and SEC registered investment advisers. He is an adjunct professor with NY Law School’s LLM Financial Services Program teaching a course in Hedge Fund Regulation.
Bill and Myles provide further strength to Foreside’s compliance services, along with Susan Mosher who joined Foreside as President of Foreside Compliance Services in 2009. Prior to joining Foreside, Susan was CCO for a California investment adviser to alternative investment funds (including funds of hedge funds), CDO and CFO products. Susan also was Senior Director and Chief Counsel of the Compliance Advisory Services division of Investors Bank & Trust Company.
